Guajome Regional Park is in Oceanside, close to the coast. It has many things to enjoy that San Diego County is known for. The park is only 8 miles from the Pacific Ocean and is a great place to visit all year. It is also near many natural and historic sites.
There are about 4.5 miles of trails that you can walk, bike, or ride through different types of habitats, like woodlands, wetlands, and grasslands. Two ponds attract migratory birds and are home to a variety of fish, making it a great spot for anglers to test their skills.
Guajome also has two day-use areas with new playgrounds, a basketball court, restrooms, and plenty of green lawn space. This makes it perfect for picnicking. The park also offers 33 tent and RV campsites, a caravan pavilion, and a rustic cabin for those who want to stay overnight.
