General Operating Hours

LOCAL PARKS:

Sunrise to sunset all year. Restroom hours will be posted at each building when hours are different than park hours. Hours may change during emergencies or when circumstances may negatively affect the safety of park patrons.  Check our News and Events page for temporary changes in hours or closings.

RECREATION, COMMUNITY, GYM and TEEN CENTERS:

Operating hours and days as posted on individual center site or by reservation. Closed on County-recognized Holidays.

• Spring Valley Community Center
• Spring Valley Gym
• Teen Centers

REGIONAL/DAY USE PARKS:

Sunrise to sunset all year: Open for walk-ins. Public vehicle access and restrooms open: 9:30 a.m. to sunset. No public vehicle access or restroom availability on December 25.

CAMPING PARKS:

Open 24 hours, seven days per week to campers. Hours may change during emergencies or when circumstances may negatively affect the safety of park patrons. Check our News and Events page for temporary changes in hours or closings.

DAY USE AREAS IN CAMPGROUNDS:

Weekday, Weekend and All Holiday Hours: 9:30 a.m. to sunset all year.

OPEN SPACE PRESERVES/RESERVES:

Open 8 a.m. to sunset all year, or hours and days as posted on the specific park page. Hours may change during emergencies or when park conditions may be unsafe for park patrons. Check our  News and Events page for temporary changes in hours or closings. No public vehicle access or restroom availability on December 25.
