Established on August 11, 1980, the San Diego County Parks Society was founded by dedicated citizens passionate about protecting, supporting, and enhancing San Diego County’s incredible park system. Today, the Society continues to play a vital role in maintaining and improving the parks, ensuring that they remain a resource for future generations to enjoy.
