A trip to Julian is not complete without a visit to Julian Museum and Pioneer Park. The Julian Pioneer Museum is housed in a late 1800s building containing nineteenth-century clothing, household furnishings, artifacts from gold mining and those of American Indian life.

Exhibits at this museum include one of the finest lace collections in California, 1896 to 1913 clothing, photographs, Victorian era pianos, an original Julian City buggy and sleigh, and an extensive collection of Indian artifacts.

The surrounding park is a nice place to step back in time and relax while enjoying a picnic lunch. Drinking fountains and restrooms are available. Get additional information on the Julian Museum Website.
