Four Gee County Park opened in Spring 2024. This neighborhood park in San Diego's 4S Ranch community measures over 1 acre and features a variety of amenities including a large shade-covered playground, a lawn, and built-in chess and ping-ping tables, and cornhole boards.
Dog owners enjoy the fenced, off-leash dog areas and themed agility equipment, along with a drinking fountain that accommodates both dogs and their owners.
Walkers and hikers can stroll the perimeter path and take a seat on benches and picnic tables.
On-site plants and trees are drought-tolerant and watered by smart irrigation systems to support regional sustainability measures. Many of them are also native to the area, encouraging the health and longevity of local wildlife.
The park was built with ADA parking, bike parking, restrooms, a water refilling station, a grill, and an educational kiosk to publicize safety information and upcoming activities.
