We're excited to announce a new educational partnership with the Anza-Borrego Foundation, focused on the species, habitats and watershed connectivity between the mountains, desert and coast.
Six workshops are planned in the Desert to Coast Series, at
locations from Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve to Agua Caliente
County Park, September 2024 through May 2025 – many at County
facilities and with County Park rangers leading the discussion. Topics
will include rare trees, geology, reptiles and amphibians, Bighorn
sheep, birds of prey, aquatic ecosystems and the mechanics of trail
construction in sensitive areas.
This fee-based program (scholarships are available) also includes outdoor nature experiences like hikes, birdwatching and camping. Learn more on the Foundation website: Anza-Borrego Foundation (theabf.org).
