County Parks will once again be teaming up with the cities of San Diego, Chula Vista, National City, La Mesa, Vista, San Marcos, Oceanside, Poway, Lemon Grove, El Cajon and other jurisdictions to host a movies in parks across San Diego. These events are free and family-friendly, with dozens of titles to choose from.
Last year, more than a hundred family-friendly movies were
shown at parks across the county. We're continuing that trend in 2017,
with new screenings and lots of free fun for all ages.

Summer Movies in the Park is a series of outdoor movie events in parks across San Diego. With more than a hundred showings from May to October, residents will enjoy special screenings of hit G, PG and PG-13-rated movies like Moana, Sing, The Secret Life of Pets, Trolls and The Sandlot. The series began as a “take back our parks” initiative, encouraging residents to visit their local parks after hours, boosting community pride and safety.
Pack a picnic and bring the whole family for a relaxing, entertaining and FREE show under the stars! Movies start 15 minutes after sunset.
