We’ve partnered with Scott Turner, co-author of Afoot & Afield: San Diego County (5^th Edition), to develop with 10 tough trivia questions. He scoured his archives, pulling historic data and other interesting facts that set County properties apart from others.

Beginning Monday, March 30, we’ll release one question per day, on our main Facebook page. The first person to answer that question correctly will receive their very own copy of Afoot & Afield: San Diego County.

Questions will be posted promptly at 10 a.m. The competition will run for two weeks, Monday through Friday (no weekends).

County Parks Trivia Rules:

• This is a Facebook contest; answers must be posted to this platform.
• Answers must be in the comments section below each trivia question post (not in Messenger).
• Answers must contain a park’s FULL name; partial names will not be accepted.
• Winners will be notified in the post feed.
• One winner per day.
• Only one prize per person, for the duration of the competition.
• County employees are not eligible to participate.
